*CFO – This position is responsible for managing the organization’s finances & financial systems and ensuring finances and systems are complaint with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, statutory requirements and federal, state, grantor regulations and outcomes. The position also directs all agency financial matters including receipt, withdrawal and disbursement of monies, maintenance of account records and preparation of financial statements and reports, including Schedule of Federal Expenditures and Awards for Single Audit.  In addition, this position is responsible for all audit related activities and payroll processing including year end W2 and 1099 forms. This position is also responsible for all finance related reports to the Board of Directors, the Finance Committee, auditors and grantors. This position requires a bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting, 2 -5 years fund accounting and non profit related experience, minimum of 1-3 years of experience in managing contracts and budgets preferred, but not required. Required experience in QuickBooks and a working knowledge of accounting principles and procedures. *Food Program Assistant  – This position is responsible for data entry for all food programs. Answering phone call and providing general information regarding the agency food program. Complete inventory spreadsheets, emergency food intakes and distribute food. This position needs a self motivated individual who has 2 or more years experience of data entry, a working knowledge of Microsoft Office, and good organizational and communication skills. Must be ablet o life 60 pounds. EOE

 

*Homeless Case Manager – The Homeless Case Manager will be responsible for working with homeless families and individuals to identify problems, help them set goals and plan to meet those goals. Also responsible for service delivery, information, referral, monthly follow-up and completing annual assessments, as well as additional responsibilities.

Candidates must meet the following requirements for consideration:

  • Self-motivation to complete daily tasks and procedures without close supervision.
  • Ability to ensure the integrity of data entered.
  • Willingness to work with team members to achieve desired outputs
  • Knowledge of the respective county, employment is in Indiana, and familiarity with the social service network and community resources.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with all members of the community.
  • Working knowledge of computers, including MS Word, Excel, and be willing to learn and utilize agency software programs such as ORS, as they pertain to this position.
  • Good organizational skills and have the ability to meet deadlines in a timely manner.
  • Must have a minimum of one year of case management experience and/or training in related field.
  • Must have a valid PA Driver’s license, reliable transportation and be willing to travel in and out of Indiana County if required. Also must be willing to transport Clients using personal vehicle.
  • A Motor Vehicle Report and Act 33 & 34 clearances and FBI clearance with fingerprinting obtained upon hire.
  • Must have vehicle insurance to comply with agency standards of coverage.

*Community Health Worker – The person in this position will serve as a liaison between communities and health care agencies.  Responsible for conducting assessments to identify community members’  health needs and develop individualized plans to address those needs, conduct outreach efforts to engage with community members and promote community health initiatives, assist community members in navigating the healthcare system and accessing necessary resources, provide case management and follow up to ensure that the linkages to services and supports addressed the participant’s needs,  Qualifications for this position include project coordination and organizational skills, ability to manage multiple projects with attention to detail, meet deadlines, ability to handle interruptions and produce timely, accurate work, previous experience in a community health or related role.  Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred or commensurate experience, previous experience in the human services and social work preferred.  This is a full time position with benefits to include health and vision coverage, paid sick, vacation, personal and holiday time.  EOE.
